The pedal-copter was an aircraft consisting of a tandem bicycle and a pedal-driven helicopter rotor. It was invented by the Second Doctor, who, along with John and Gillian, used it to explore a planet, but it crashed when one of the rotor blades broke off. (COMIC: Attack of the Daleks)
