A prison officer was a prison officer at Stangmoor Prison. Sometime in the 1970s, he kept guard over Harry Mailer.
He was later killed by the Keller Machine along with a fellow officer. His body was discovered by the Third Doctor and Jo Grant. (TV: The Mind of Evil)
