Props chargehand

Props chargehands (or dressing chargehands) are the leaders of the props dressing team. Generally, such teams are small, consisting of no more than two or three people. The chargehand will receive props from the props storeman and then allocate his or her team with a certain number of props to install around a set or location. The chargehand is distinct from standby props, in that they are present before filming begins; standby props is on-set while filming is underway in order to correct any props problems on the fly.
