Rasphuia was an inhabitant of Sair, a village whose inhabitants had the ability to conjure demons.
When the Fifth Doctor and Peri arrived in the village, Rasphuia was suspicious of them, but Papus tried to calm her down and told her they shouldn't prejudge the visitors.
She and Papus helped the Doctor defeat Tablibik and end his control over Peri. (PROSE: Fascination)
