Regeneration (webcast)

Talk about it here.

This subject is not a valid source for writing our in-universe articles, and may only be referenced in behind the scenes sections or other invalid-tagged articles.

Regeneration was the the name in the title card of the fourth in the Reconstructions series.

It featured David Bradley playing the First Doctor and not William Hartnell. Reece Shearsmith also portrays the Second Doctor. The initial version was a recreation of the regeneration scene from The Tenth Planet.

An extended version, listed in the DVD as Regenerations, with an added scene with Mark Gatiss as the Third Doctor was released on the An Adventure in Space and Time DVD. Though the titlecard still said Regeneration.

This video was a visual representation of regeneration and not a literal depiction of the events of the first two regenerations.

Synopsis[]

It's a form of renewal, it has happened before and it will happen again.

Plot[]

Within the TARDIS, the First Doctor lies on the floor. As he lays unconscious he begins to glow. This is when he regenerates into the Second Doctor.

We then see the Second Doctor also begin to glow when he too regenerates, this time into the Third Doctor.
