Robert Cawdron played Dr Bruno Taltalian in the Doctor Who television story The Ambassadors of Death.
Appearing in over one hundred television and film productions between 1947 and 1981, his other credits included roles on Interpol Calling, Danger Man, No Hiding Place, The Avengers, The Six Wives of Henry VIII, Department S, Doomwatch, The Persuaders! and Z-Cars. However, he is best known for playing Detective Inspector Cherry on Dixon of Dock Green and Sergeant Le Duc in The Saint.
