Ruduse was a Rhiptogan bounty hunter.
After Sam joined him, the Eighth Doctor took her to Silhouette Island in the Seychelles, where they were captured by Ruduse. After Sam was poisoned by an alien plant, the Doctor gained an ally in a fugitive Ladeeth, who sacrificed himself to trap Ruduse in a spaceship before it exploded.
