The San Francisco Oracle was a newspaper that catered to the underground scene in that city in at least 1967. Ben, Polly, Summer and the Second Doctor visited its offices in the Haight on several occasions in the run-up to the Human Be-In concert, of which they were one of the sponsors and organisers. Appropriately, its offices were located at, according to Jessica Willamy, "the exact corner of Haight and Ashbury".
