Scots Guards

The Scots Guards were a part of the British Army.

Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart joined the Scots Guards in the 1950s and was stationed for a time at Aldgate. (TV: The Web of Fear, The Green Death) By the late 1960s he was a colonel in the 2nd Battalion, and was on training manoeuvres in the Libyan desert when he was called to London by Colonel Spencer Pemberton of the Parachute Regiment First Battalion (1 PARA), the Special Forces Support Group (SFSG), to deal with the London Event. (PROSE: The Ambush!) The 2nd Battalion went on be deployed to West Germany where it was based in Iserlohn as part of 4th Armoured Brigade, while Lethbridge-Stewart was officially assigned to the Wellington Barracks in London by Major General Hamilton.
