CharStub

Sheila was a Sentient, one of the original species from the birth of the universe. She was made up of sentient helium atoms, enclosed in a balloon, and was a friend and companion of the masked Mexican wrestler, Señor 105, whom she met in Paris. (PROSE: Elementary, My Dear Sheila [+]Cody Schell, Ms Wildthyme & Friends Investigate (Iris Wildthyme, Obverse Books, 2010).)

Biography[]

Sheila first encountered Señor 105 and Rodrigo Villar when they were unwittingly transported from Mexico to Paris after discovering a technologically advanced jukebox known as the Zodiac machine in the Chicxulub Crater. (PROSE: The Gulf [+]Cody Schell, The Periodic Adventures of Señor 105 (Obverse Books, 2012).) She was rescued by 105 and later joined him in returning to Mexico. (PROSE: Elementary, My Dear Sheila [+]Cody Schell, Ms Wildthyme & Friends Investigate (Iris Wildthyme, Obverse Books, 2010).)

In the summer of 1967, Sheila attended a party Brenda Soobie hosted in Las Vegas. Iris spotted Cody dancing holding Sheila in one hand and his husband's hand in another. Iris failed to remember Sheila's name so avoided the group to avoid awkwardness. (PROSE: Party Fears Two [+]Stuart Douglas, Iris: Fifteen (Iris Wildthyme, Obverse Books, 2015).)

While a resident at Señor 105's home in 1969, Sheila integrated herself with his guests Tadaaki Tea, Chago Serpiente, Diana Gulbronson and Zorge Zumbido when Señor held a dinner party in memory of his mentor Viento. Following the party when the guests had retired to their rooms, Diana stole a map and perfume bottle and attempted to navigate the hidden labyrinth below Señor 105's house on behalf of the Terrible Kings. A wrong turn led Diana to walk into Zumbido's room where she was witnessed by Zumbido himself and Sheila. She attacked the pair and murdered Zumbido by bashing him over the head with the perfume bottle and strangling him to death with his own hands, before popping Sheila's balloon casing and leaving her to die by being dissipated into the air. Sheila was saved when Señor 105 ordered Mr. Tea to locate a replacement balloon for her to inhabit. (PROSE: Elementary, My Dear Sheila [+]Cody Schell, Ms Wildthyme & Friends Investigate (Iris Wildthyme, Obverse Books, 2010).) Iris Wildthyme and Panda saw Sheila in the La Ciudad. (PROSE: The Shape of Things [+]Stuart Douglas, Ms Wildthyme & Friends Investigate (Iris Wildthyme, Obverse Books, 2010).)

In 1970, Sheila and 105 encountered Linda who had been attacked by Jackalopes. They attempted to search for Linda's friend Pete but found that he had been killed. The Jackalopes attacked and attempted to convert Sheila into their slave, but 105 managed to direct their energy blast into a rabbit kit which he had smuggled into his hat. The kit was rejuvenated and managed to vanquish the Jackalopes by destroying their energy crystal. (PROSE: Jackalope)

Appearances[]

Sheila originally existed within the contents of a yellow latex balloon, however, she was popped by Diana Gulbronson and Señor 105 was forced to place her into a green balloon. (PROSE: Elementary, My Dear Sheila [+]Cody Schell, Ms Wildthyme & Friends Investigate (Iris Wildthyme, Obverse Books, 2010).) Sometime later, 105 noticed that Sheila's surface colour would change intensity depending on her mood and helped her to perfect the ability to change colour at will. Her passport presented her as a red balloon, and she also appeared as white and a darker shade. (PROSE: The Gulf [+]Cody Schell, The Periodic Adventures of Señor 105 (Obverse Books, 2012).)
