The Skinks were a group of reptilian mercenary pirates.
During the age of the Earth Empire, Ron Cordell hired a group of Skinks to blockade the planet Vourakis 3. This would cause an increased amount of revenue in the black market which Cordell would profit from. The Twelfth Doctor and Heddy Garber landed on the Skinks ship and were captured. When the Skinks tried to push the Doctor and Heddy into the ship's black hole drive, the Doctor used his sonic sunglasses to destroy the containment field around the black hole. All of the Skinks onboard were sucked into the hole and killed. (COMIC: Pirates of Vourakis)
In the 53rd century, the Skinks were hired by Gavor Vek-Haart to kidnap India Summer, but were foiled by the Twelfth Doctor and Clara Oswald. (COMIC: Hyperballad)
