Captain Sorin was the leader of a Russian Command unit that arrived at Maiden's Point by way of Northumberland in 1943. Commander Millington instructed Sorin to steal the core of the Ultima Machine so that Fenric would be free. Later Sorin took a liking to Ace and gave her his scarf. He was killed when Fenric took possession of his body. (DW: The Curse of Fenric)
