Sultan (1001 Nights)

The Sultan was the leader of a country visited by the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa. He imprisoned the Doctor as a common thief. The Doctor wanted something from his palace. He later asked Nyssa to tell stories of other worlds. (AUDIO: 1001 Nights) He heard of the Miaxa, (AUDIO: My Brother's Keeper) the Interplanetarian, (AUDIO: The Interplanetarian) and the Story Tellers. (AUDIO: Smuggling Tales) He stole the identity of the true Sultan from Nazar. He was trying to steal the Doctor's identity so that he could use the TARDIS to escape from the planet. He eventually broke down because of the memories. (AUDIO: 1001 Nights)
