Swapnil Khan was the father of Queenie Glasscock and a chess enthusiast. He created a giant chessboard out of the ballroom in the sanatorium. If the talent show had continued he would have performed the Indian Rope Trick. As he won the chess game with Queenie, he gained all the Celestial Toymaker's powers, but he never made the final move as he flicked the switch that electrified the board.
