T-Shirt Terror was a Doctor Who Adventures comic strip published in 2014.

Summary Edit

The Loum attempt to invade Earth using T-shirts that provide a gateway between dimensions.

Plot Edit

When the Doctor and Clara arrive on a busy London street they find a shop has exclusively sold over four thousand new shirts in just one week! All of the blue t-shirts feature an alien head in a circle each is a slightly different design. Clara has an impulse to buy one and as soon as she puts it on she starts to vanish! Rather than Clara wearing a t-shirt with an alien face on the Doctor and shop assistant Audrey are faced with an alien wearing a t-shirt with Clara's face on. The alien identifies itself as Loum and as everyone else wearing t-shirts undergoes the same transformation the Loum declares the world theirs! Audrey leads the Doctor to the stock room where locking the door behind them the Doctor uses his sonic screwdriver to analyse the design discovering it to be a gateway to another universe. Managing to open up one of the gateways the Doctor and Audrey climb through to find all the t-shirt wearing people — including Clara. The Doctor is able to hold the gateway open allowing all four thousand humans to return to London. Without the power source provided by the humans being kept there, the Loum fade away back to their own dimension. With her new plain design blue t-shirt Clara nips of shopping while all the humans are freed.

Notes Edit

  • Opening up the gateway with his sonic screwdriver seems to enlarge the size of the t-shirts to a size that enables the Doctor and Audrey to easily climb through.
