Rename tag[]
To answer the first question, both Gavins are in Twin Piques, so the standard dab doesn't work. That's why the page creator used the I and II. The first Gavin is a king and is Gavin XXIII, the second Gavin is not a king.
For the second question, can you give examples of alternate or parallel versions of characters being merged? Because offhand all I can think of is the Inferno Brig and Liz, and they have separate pages from the originals. Shambala108 ☎ 02:58, March 25, 2013 (UTC)
- Well, there's plenty of instances where we have parallel versions of characters. Though not a huge difference in character (unlike the Brig and Liz), for example, we have the Donna from Donna's World. The differences in her life in that alternate universe are mentioned in a separate section called "Alternate timeline." We have pages like this all over the wiki. In fact, the two articles mentioned by you follow that format as well.
- As far as titles, if you think we should keep them as separate articles, how about the difference between the two being "XXIII?"
