Octavian still alive?[]

Is it not possible, that since the Angels fell into the crack and were erased from history that Octavian is once more amongst the living? This because the angel who killed him never existed, thus the possibly of meeting an Octavian with no memories of the Angels may yet exist in a future episode.

  • The crash still happened though so probably no.--WarGrowlmon18 23:33, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

But now the cracks never existed, so all the Angels weren't powered up (did the crash still happen - would Angel Bob (or Angel-not-Bob, if this is the way it works) still arrange the crash as a rescue mission without the crack for enery? The ship alone wouldn't have been enough for what they needed. But still would have been enough for restoration of an army's worth, according the Doctor. And we still don't know how they were defeated and if a different method led to Octavian not getting killed. Usually, I'm very good at folowing time travel and understanding what did and did not happen due to changes and such, but these cracks just drive me batty. 207.171.251.170 00:36, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

Regardless of the existence or non-existence of the cracks, it's possible that any of the later casualties of the conflict could have survived if the Angels decided to time-warp them (like they did in Blink) instead of killing them. We know they killed the first three or so soldiers because they "needed the bodies" (for some reason) but by the time they got to Octavian they seemed to be more or less all charged up, so they might have just zapped him into the past. Not especially likely given the rest of the story, but if they wanted to bring Octavian back in a future episode, they could easily use that loophole and have the Doctor meet him in the distant past on that planet. Octavian's awesome and I'd like to see his character again, but even if the Angels sent him back in time, he'd be dead. The planet was terraformed relatively recently and had previously been uninhabitable by humans. 71.59.219.221talk to me 18:27, June 9, 2012 (UTC)
