How do we know it was her?[]

Was there any connection between the cleaner and this plaque, any name or initial? Amorkuz 23:19, November 5, 2016 (UTC)

To be honest, I was wondering the same thing. I haven't seen the episode yet (waiting for it to air on Space), but as I understand it, the order goes: Williams. K. > Chapman. R. > Caroll. C. > Volkon. P. > Dawson. T. > Armitage. F.
The school knew that the cleaner went missing, as made clear in Coach, and, well, she's the one who's killed between Caroll and Dawson in that episode. Volkon is a Turkish name, which goes perfectly with her statements about her home country and, I'm assuming, her accent.
So it's hard to deny that the intent is that P. Volkon, listed on the plaque, is the cleaner. Ram never learned her name, and Armitage is killed before he really gets to respond to the others, so it's no surprise we don't learn it in Coach itself.
But is anything made explicit beyond that point? To my knowledge, no.

It can be assumed that she is P. Volkon due to all the other names added after the beginning of Class have been accounted for. --Xx-connor-xX 23:33, November 5, 2016 (UTC)
We never assume on this wiki. We use stories as sources and we don't speculate as to author intention. Shambala108 23:42, November 5, 2016 (UTC)
Not even when it is a basic assumption? Four people from the school died between Episode 2 and 4. Three of the character's surnames had already been revealed so logically the fourth must be the Cleaner's.--Xx-connor-xX 23:46, November 5, 2016 (UTC)
To be honest, I kinda hoped she might be Poppy from the novel Joyride. She's the only one from the school who dies there. It would be cool if Ness could keep the two continuity mutually connected. But it feels that the order does support the cleaner version, because Poppy would probably be added after all of Dawson, Caroll and Armitage. There is only one argument against it being the cleaner. The current description of the board says it is for students and teachers. The cleaner was neither. Amorkuz 23:41, November 5, 2016 (UTC)

Volkovna[]

In "Co-Owner of a Lonely Heart" her name appears as "Volkon. P.", however in "The Lost", another name, "Volkovna. P.", appears in its place. Could it be that her being from Russia led them to misunderstand her name and they found out her real name in some files somewhere at a later point? --DCLM 21:11, December 3, 2016 (UTC)

What the hell? I guess it seems like she was employed under the name Volkon, but Volkovna is also her proper surname, as they later seem to have corrected. Speculation completely aside, if the school updated her name, they did so for a reason, and we should probably follow suit and rename, leaving a redirect, making note of both spellings. Very odd...

I also had to look one more time to see if I saw that correct. --DCLM 23:59, December 3, 2016 (UTC)
So... should it be moved? We can just have both names appear in the article. --DCLM 11:31, December 4, 2016 (UTC)
