This is more likely to be a reflection of both technologies utilising the same basic physical law of the universe to function, as by the 30th Century -- the assumed home time of the Time Agency -- no one would know anything about Indigo and the technology of the Vortex Manipulator would have been reinvented from scratch or acquired from an alien species, so doesn't really belong in the article. Conjecture?[]
Should there even be a "Conjecture" section here? It seems like the only content there is complete speculation. Apart from none of the conclusions being substantiated within the show, this section could also easily grow very large as others add contradictory yet equally speculative thoughts. As a result, the development of stand-alone teleport devices seems to have ceased with attention being turned to close-ended [[transmat]] technology that would eventually culminate in the [[T-Mat]] ([[TV]]: ''[[The Seeds of Death]]'') and its successor, the [[Interstitial Mass Transit System]] ([[PROSE]]: ''[[Transit]]''). Codes from Project Indigo were all that was required to reactivate the teleportation function on [[Jack Harkness]]'s [[Time Agency wrist strap]].
