eye patch lady[]

from the trailer we know that the eye patch lady is appearing. Does anyone want to add that to this page? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 78.105.95.95 (talk).

We know the Eye Patch Lady was in Day of the Moon, The Curse of the Black Spot and the Rebel Flesh. She also will appear in episode 6, The Almost People, I don't know but I think she will appear in episode 7 and she will be in episode 8.

Anyway, just want to tell you that only Amy can see the Eye Patch Lady.

Enemies[]

Shouldn't Cleaves be added to this list? She was the one that killed a ganger and turned them against everyone else. Geek Mythology 19:19, May 21, 2011 (UTC)

No, I don't think so. Otherwise, Adam Mitchell could be considered as an enemy in DW : The Long Game, too... Nafoute 14:29, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Meh, there's a difference between Adam and Cleaves, Adam just got greedy. When the humans and gangers were about to start working together, it was Cleaves who turned on the (up til now) innocent gangers. They only faught back because of the hostility and prejudice shown towards them by Cleaves. The Jagrafess would still have been evil regardless of Ada or anyone else. Geek Mythology 15:57, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

OK, then consider Ambrose Northover : she killed Alaya in "Cold Blood", thus preventing humans and Silurians to make peace and share the Earth, and "starting" a new war between them. But she's not considered as an enemy, the Silurians are. So I think it's the same in this story for Cleaves. Nafoute 07:59, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

On the same subject, can the Gangers be considered enemies moreso than the Humans? The story seems to be about how they're the same as humans. TemporalSpleen 16:07, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

Nestine Consiousness[]

Is it just me or dose the Flesh remind anyone of the Nestine consiousness? Also the Doctor seems to know the Flesh and he said he had to "fix" things with it. Maby its a Nestine survivor and the Doctor wants to make peace with a survivor of the Time War. What dose everyone think: - Red Rover

For one, please sign posts with an actual signature, but no.. In the episode New Earth, "The Flesh" was what they also called the new humans that were grown by the sisters of plentitude to test diseases on to find the cure, so most likely, he is refering to that.. -Ahhh, I had forgotten about that. I also was thinking they were tied in with the Nestene somehow. 4.252.14.125 19:06, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

Production errors section[]

When the Doctor is knocked unconscious by the solar storm, he has a brown bow tie on. Later, he has a blue one on. Production error.

  • Is this a production error or another example of the series' quantum red/blue theme? professorrev 19:35, May 22, 2011 (UTC)

References section[]

What is the source for the incident on the Isle of Sheppey? The place is mentioned (twice) in the episode, but not what actually happened. (I live there, BTW) Angelus Lupus 21:58, May 23, 2011 (UTC)

The Title[]

Is it worth mentioning that the 5th episode of the previous series also had the word "Flesh" in the title? I am aware that it obviously has no story meaning but maybe it should be mentioned somewhere in the article, like References or one of these bits. MAX1592 21:33, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

Spoiler in info box needs to be removed???[]

Unless I missed something, it's not been revealed as of The Rebel Flesh that Amy is ...ehm, well, you know! (Don't want the spoiler removed from the main page only to have someone show up here and get it!) 4.252.14.125 19:03, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

You're right. Thank you for bringing this up. I have removed this, as we don't actually know when she was swapped. Mini-mitch\talk 19:07, May 29, 2011 (UTC)
It was stated in the Doctor Who Confidential for this episode that Amy has been a Ganger since the first episode this season. Additionally, we've seen in-show evidence by way of the POSITIVE/NEGATIVE pregnancy readings and Eye Patch Lady's appearances since Day of the Moon. Witoki 20:00, May 29, 2011 (UTC)
We need an inuniverse spurce, i.e. a television story. DWC may be offical, but all source have to inuniverse and produces hace been known to lie, just like when they said 'No classic monsters are returning. Mini-mitch\talk 20:06, May 29, 2011 (UTC)
Makes sense. Would the Eye Patch Lady's appearances and pos/neg pregnancy scans going back as far as Day of the Moon qualify as sufficient to say she had been replaced by the conclusion of that episode? Witoki 01:55, May 30, 2011 (UTC)
