The Adventures of Strax & the Time Shark is an ongoing Doctor Who Adventures comic strip series published in 2016.

Summary

DWA15 14

Vastra approaches Strax and asks him to get Jenny's cat, Mittens, out of a tree. After considering using rockets or grenades, Strax decides to save the kitten with his Time Shark. He rides the shark through the time vortex to stop a squirrel from planting the acorn the will become the tree. He finds the squirrel and the shark eats it. Back in Victorian London, Jenny is reaching for Mittens. Suddenly, the tree disappears beneath Mittens and she falls into Jenny's hands. Strax declares this to be another victory for the Sontaran empire.

DWA15 15

Jenny has asked Strax to buy a pineapple from the green grocer. As he leaves Paternoster Row, Vastra reminds him to disguise himself when going in public. Later, Vastra walks past the Grocers and sees Strax riding the Time Shark and wearing a top hat. She scolds him for not wearing a disguise, but he claims that wearing a hat is a disguise.

DWA15 16

Strax finds a mouse in the kitchen and asks Vastra if he can use his grenades to get rid of it. When she says no, he asks if he can use lasers instead. After another no, he asks if he can use the Sontaran slime shooter, but Vastra says that that would be too loud. Strax asks if he can blow it just a little bit and Vastra once again says no.

DWA15 17

Strax uses the Time Shark to take a trip into the future: summer 2016. A boy is blocking his way on the sidewalk. Strax asks him to get out of the way, but the boy says he can't because of some bullies that are around the corner. Strax tells the boy to get on the Time Shark and they ride the shark towards the bullies, scaring them away.
