The Blue Boar at Aldbourne, Wiltshire, was the filming location of The Cloven Hoof in Devil's End for the Doctor Who story The Dæmons, as well as for White Witch of Devil's End. The management received a grateful thanks for their work on the latter.
After location filming for The Dæmons was completed, the illustrated hanging sign for The Cloven Hoof was given to the real-life landlord of The Blue Boar, and it hung on display in the bar for several years afterwards. However, when the pub changed hands in the early 1980s, the new landlord sold the sign to a group of Doctor Who fans, and its present whereabouts is unknown.
