The Daily Telegraph

The Daily Telegraph was a British newspaper.

History[]

On 12 April 1929, the paper reported that Lord Barset's expedition to Antarctica was lost following their claim to have found a lost city of intelligent reptiles. (COMIC: City of Devils [+]Gary Russell, DWM backup comic stories (Marvel Comics, 1992)., AUDIO: Frozen Time [+]Nicholas Briggs, Main Range (Big Finish Productions, 2007).)

In 2007, the front page of The Daily Telegraph said that Saxon led "polls" by 64%, and, in the countdown to the election, there were four more months of "government paralysis". There were also adverts for Millingdale ice cream and for "Spain's most famous goat", La Cabra De Oro. Other headlines read "fourth minister resigns - so who is running the country?" and "crime figures buried in paramilitary crisis". Victor Kennedy tried to use this edition of the paper to conceal his alien appearance from Elton Pope and Ursula Blake. It did not work because Victor's alien fingers were clearly visible holding it. (TV: Love & Monsters [+]Russell T Davies, Doctor Who series 2 (BBC One, 2006).)
