The library on Kar-Charrat is one of the wonders of the Universe. It is also hidden from all but a few select species. The Doctor and Ace discover that the librarians have found a new way of storing data - a wetworks facility - but the machine has attracted unwanted attention, and the Doctor soon finds himself pitted against his oldest and deadliest enemies - the Daleks!

  • The Time Lords used the natives of Kar-Charrat, who are in the presence of the water, as part of their wetworks facility.
  • The Daleks were kept in suspended animation in what was thought to have been a zigguraut on the planet.
  • An android replica of Ace was made by the Daleks in order to get into the library.
  • The Kar-Charratans attack the Daleks by flooding their shells and drowing the mutants inside of them, but the Ace Andoids outer covering must be uncovered in order for them to damage it
  • The Doctor's consciousness/mind was used in the transferal of knowledge in the wetworks facility and a Dalek, after when a previous dalek went beserk when it downloaded it directly into its mind.
