Summary
The Quarks create Giant Wasps to attack the Second Doctor and Jamie on the devastated planet of Gano. Jamie and the Doctor, barely able to fight them off, flee into a hidden underground city... where the Quarks await them!
Luckily, when the Giant Wasps arrive, they instinctively attack the first thing they see... the Quarks! The Wasps are all eliminated, but this gives the Doctor and Jamie time to flee back to the TARDIS. The Quarks swear to develop a more deadly weapon against their foes...

Notes
- Gano appears to be a planet the Quarks have already subjugated.
Continuity
- The Quarks return in this story, following directly on from their vendetta against the Doctor in COMIC: Invasion of the Quarks. This presumably means this is set in 1968 as well.
- In Captain Jack's Monster Files it is suggested the Giant Wasps may be Vespiforms. This story takes place after the Vespiforms already exist, but it's possible the Quarks have used Giant Wasps before - they do use them again in PROSE: Millennial Rites, after all.
