Time was an Eternal who chose the Seventh Doctor as her champion. Like Death and other Eternals, she acted as a living embodiment of cosmic principles.

She came into being when Chris Cwej and Ishtar Hutchings had sex. Ishtar gave birth to Jasmine Surprise Cwej-Hutchings, who went on to have sex with Ricky McIlveen (a powerful psionic) (PROSE: Warchild), who in turn gave birth to Time. (PROSE: Happy Endings) Being created from the dreams and thoughts of Time Lords, becoming personified into an "abstract universal entity." (PROSE: Human Nature)
Time chose the Doctor as her champion, in his seventh incarnation. (PROSE: Love and War)
Time, along with Death and Pain, attended Bernice Summerfield and Jason Kane's wedding in Cheldon Bonniface. (PROSE: Happy Endings)
Time appeared to the Doctor when he returned to the House of Lungbarrow. (PROSE: Lungbarrow)
