This audio drama was recorded on 16 and 17 November 2005 at The Moat Studios.
This story had the working title of Clockworks. Writer Steve Lyons submitted the idea to Big Finish not stipulating a particular Doctor, but specifying two companions. Producer Gary Russell's original intention was to place it within the Divergent Universe story arc.

Continuity

The Sixth Doctor and Peri Brown previously encountered the Bandrils during their visit to Karfel in TV: Timelash.
