The Titanian Queen was an interstellar cruise ship.
In 2593, Bernice Summerfield was on the maiden voyage, acting as Marcus Krytell's agent to buy back the Olabrian joy-luck crystal the Cat's Paw had stolen from him.
However, the ship was intended to be wrecked for the insurance money, with the passengers' deaths being collateral damage. The Cat's Paw was able to deactivate ARVID, the ship's computer, before it could finish killing everyone.
Adrift in space, the passengers left in escape pods. The ship's distress call was picked up, and the passengers were retrieved and taken to Shokesh, the nearest planet. (PROSE: Ship of Fools)
