Tony Auger was the visual effects designer on the Doctor Who television story Black Orchid.
In 2008, he was special effects co-ordinator on the revival of Survivors directed by Andrew Gunn and starring Freema Agyeman, Paterson Joseph, Daniel Ryan, Ronny Jhutti, Julie Graham and Roger Lloyd Pack. In 2009 he worked on Collision with Paul McGann, Dean Lennox Kelly, Sylvia Syms and Lenora Crichlow.
