Tornado

Tornadoes were a dangerous weather phenomenon. Tornadoes could be created deliberately and used as weapons of large-scale destruction.

On Earth[]

Professor Brian Phipps' house was destroyed by what appeared to be a freak tornado, but which turned out to be a conduit to an alien spaceship above Earth. (COMIC: The Vortex)

In 2050, the Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park were destroyed by a tornado caused by an Aeolian. (TV: Aeolian)

Other tornadoes[]

The people of Bellus created a tornado to attack a city on Demeter. The First Doctor used a tremulator to divert the energy causing it back to Bellus. (COMIC: The Ordeals of Demeter) When Gallifrey was shunted into a pocket universe at the end of the Last Great Time War, one of the side-effects was a tornado striking a small village. Various versions of the Doctor used their TARDISes to create a counter force that dissipated it. (PROSE: The Day of the Doctor)

Tornadoes frequently formed on the northern oceans of New Rarga. This, coupled with ice storms to the south, made the planet almost uninhabitable. (PROSE: Ghost Devices)
