In 2006, at least three Groske were stranded on Earth. Shortly afterwards, they were found and recruited by UNIT. They started doing tasks for the base. When the Eleventh Doctor was pronounced dead, UNIT and the Claw Shansheeth took his body to the base for a funeral.
The Shansheeth stored the Doctor's TARDIS and a Memory Weave within the base, the Weave self-destructed destroying a portion of the base. (TV: Death of the Doctor)
