Versus was the first knight of the Thastrian-Hives and protector of the Techno-Web.
Versus and his team had been observing the Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane since they had first woken Jresta. After he had one of his men, Kalios, break off a piece of an unknown object, his men were killed by an energy field created by the unknown object, Clynex. Fortunately for him, the Doctor knocked him unconscious before he could be killed, and destroyed Clynex. (COMIC: The Naked Flame)
