- A new comic book-exclusive companion is introduced in the shape of Kevin, a robot shaped like a large dinosaur. Kevin's presence as an ongoing companion is confirmed in the cover art for Doctor Who #9 and in the followup story, IDW: Your Destiny Awaits, which chronicles Kevin's first week as a companion.
