William Lucas (14 April 1925-8 July 2016[1]) played Range in the Doctor Who television story Frontios. He is best known for playing Dr James Gordon on The Adventures of Black Beauty, and later appeared as Dr Gordon in the first series of its sequel, The New Adventures of Black Beauty.
