The Winton was an Inman class cruiser. It was used to transport Professor Bernice Summerfield and her archaeological team to the planet Perfecton after Earth Central lifted the quarantine around the planet. It was attacked by both the Grel and a Perfecton missile, but managed to escape into hyperspace before the Perfecton star went supernova. It was commanded by Captain Balsam. (PROSE: Oh No It Isn't!, AUDIO: Oh No It Isn't) According to one account its navigator was Lieutenant Prince; (AUDIO: Oh No It Isn't) according to another account the navigator was Lieutenant Aurum Salvistra.
