The Davinadroid was a robotic voice that controlled the Big Brother house aboard the Game Station. It welcomed the Ninth Doctor to the Diary Room, informing him he was on live television Channel 44000 and asking him to refrain from swearing.
Although Rose Tyler never encountered the Davinadroid, she understood that the Anne Droid was based upon another Anne from her own time; (TV: Bad Wolf [+]Russell T Davies, Doctor Who series 1 (BBC One, 2005).) this was evidently true of the Davinadroid, as Davina McCall was a famous television presenter. The droid's name is a pun on that of Davina McCall, the host of the show at the time of Bad Wolf's broadcast. McCall voiced the Davinadroid in Bad Wolf.
